Preparing for your Upcoming Service
Thank you so much for choosing to work with Premier Power Wash! We’re excited to provide exceptional services for you!
To ensure everything goes smoothly and we’re all on the same page, there are a few things you need to know and agree to before we schedule your visit.
If you have any questions or concerns about the following information, please call us at 800-250-3045 or email us at cs@prwash.com.
Day of Cleaning Service
No, you do not need to be home. As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and an outdoor water source, our technicians can complete the work while you’re away.
If you happen to be home, we’re always happy to say hello and answer any questions.
Please make sure we have access to a working water source (outdoor hose spigot).
For a house wash, we ask that you try to move any objects such as patio furniture, grills, patio planters, etc. away from the house 20 feet. We also ask that cars are removed from the driveway and for any pets to be inside the home. Make sure all windows are shut tightly and screens removed for the best cleaning results.
For driveway, patio, deck and concrete cleaning -- please move everything off those areas.
We schedule service within a specific week, rather than an exact day and time. This allows us to work efficiently around weather, travel time, and the length of previous jobs.
You do not need to be home while the work is completed. As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and an outdoor water source, our technicians can take care of everything.
When your service day is approaching, our technicians will send a text message when they are on the way so you know we’re coming.
Our dedicated technicians work through various weather conditions such as rain, wind, and even snow. In the event of extreme weather, our office staff will reach out and ask about rescheduling for a different date.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled service week whenever possible.
The more notice you can give us, the better. Our routes are carefully planned, and last-minute changes can create significant scheduling challenges.
Cleaning Service Questions
Our standard house wash service removes algae, mold, mildew, dirt, pollen, cobwebs, insects, bird droppings, and all organic staining (except for shotgun fungus and vines).
We clean your siding, soffits, gutters, fascia, and doors using the "soft washing" technique. We do not use high pressure on these areas because it can cause damage and accelerate the oxidation process. Instead, we "soft wash" these areas of the house because it's effective and does not cause damage. Read more about soft washing and its benefits here.
We perform 99.9% of our soft washing work from the ground (without ladders) because it's safer for our technicians. Our commercial equipment allows us to reach up to three stories high from the ground.
We do not remove Shotgun (Artillery) Fungus or vines from houses:
* Shotgun fungus is a tiny black dot that can appear on some siding. It does not come off during the washing process. Learn how to remove shotgun fungus here.
* Vines that attach to your house do not come off during the cleaning process. Vines must be removed by hand, which is a very time-consuming process.
Additionally, some NON-organic stains may not come off during a standard house wash. These stains often require a different cleaning or restoration process, which comes at an extra cost:
* Oxidation
* Rust
* Paint
* Graffiti
* Calcium
* Efflorescence
* Fertilizer stains
* Gum
* Irrigation stains
* Adhesives
* Silicone
* Concrete
* Mortar
* Smoke/soot stains
Call us for pricing and more information on how to remove these non-organic materials.
For exterior window cleaning services, the customer is responsible for removing screens. If screens are not removed, we will do our best to wash through them. If you'd like us to remove the screens, call us (an hourly fee applies).
For house washes, screens can be left in, and most customers leave them in. However, removing the screens prior to your house wash can allow for a more thorough cleaning of the window sills. The choice is yours, based on your preferences.
Soft washing is a cleaning method that uses low pressure along with a proprietary cleaning solution to safely clean exterior surfaces of organic stains such as mildew and algae. Soft washing is a much less abrasive method to cleaning a home’s exterior and it helps to preserve the life of your windows, trim, and siding.
Since pressure washing cleans by spraying water at a very high PSI, some exterior materials can become weakened or damaged. We never use high pressure on your houses!
We recommend soft washing most siding materials, roofs, and pavers to ensure the materials aren’t damaged. Other areas like driveways, sidewalks, and wood decks are built more to withstand the higher pressure washing.
Yes, we clean when it’s raining. We will always contact you if we need to reschedule due to weather.
A typical house wash can be completed quite rapidly, thanks to our high-volume commercial equipment and proprietary soap mix, which works impressively fast.
A smaller house will generally take around 30 minutes to clean. On the other hand, washing a very large house could take up several hours.
